20p could save your life!

October is tyre safety month and Just Tyres in conjunction with TyreSafe are running their annual safety campaign.

Tyresafe's 20p test is a quick and simple way for drivers to check if their tyres have enough tread to make them safe and legal. Simply place the coin into the tyre's main tread grooves and see if the outer rim is covered by the tread. If the outer rim is visible then the tread may be worn close to the legal limit and tyres should then be checked by a specialist. The 20p test - it's quick and it's easy. In fact, it's so simple, even an adult could do it!
