Just Tyres offers customers a 5 year warranty on every tyre sold, subject to the tyre manufacturers’ normal complaint operating procedure and adjudication.
What does this mean to you?
Customers must pay for a new tyre first and await the adjudication of the manufacturer. This is normally obtained within four weeks. If a tyre is adjudged faulty by the manufacturer and allowance is made based on:
The amount of legal tread life remaining
The current cost of purchasing an equivalent new tyre
If the manufacturer judges a tyre to be faulty but outside their warranty period, Just Tyres undertakes to grant and allowance based on the above calculation for up to 5 years from the date of sale (in this case proof of purchase from Just Tyres is required).
We ask customers to understand the need for proper tyre examination by the manufacturer before establishing liability to replace the tyre. It is not therefore possible to resolve new tyre problems on the spot. We do however adjudicate and recompense if appropriate, all remould tyres on the spot.
At present only Just Tyres offers nationally a 5 year warranty period during which genuine manufacturing defects can be recompensed. |
