WHY SHOULD I BUY TYRES IN PAIRS?

• Ideally we would not recommend mixing tread patterns on the same axle and for both the front two tyres to match and the rear two tyres to match. This is because driving with mismatched tyres can cause an imbalance in steering, braking and rolling resistance.
• You'll benefit from more even tread wear and more predictable handling and traction if each axle has matching tyres.
• Replacing only one tyre can cause that tyre to rotate at a slower rate. This can send false signals to antilock braking systems and traction control, which can cause driving errors.
• Replacing a single tyre can mean it will have more or less traction than the old one, which can affect your vehicle's behaviour when accelerating, braking, or cornering. This often reduces performance and can affect safety.
